India is the fastest growing aviation market in the world. The Indian aviation sector till recently was completely regulated and managed by the government. After opening up the sector to Private airlines and witnessing the high passenger growth, the Indian government has taken up the policy of development of airport infrastructures with the help of private parties under the Public Private Partnership Format. The government has projected the investment in Airports to increase from 6771 Crores to more than 30,000 crores by 2013.
